    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing work that includes applying policies and procedures governing the overall unit administrative and orderly room operation; interpreting new instructions and procedures; evaluating program efficiency and implementing program improvements; performing non-routine assignments such noting and following-up on meetings/conferences; advising others on preparing correspondence and various reports; locating and summarizing relevant information from files and documents; applying correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format when preparing and editing written correspondences and reports; utilizing various office automation software to produce a wide range of documents such as graphics or tables within text, editing and reformatting electronic drafts, and updating and revising existing databases or spreadsheets.

    FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. Support the project team from Naples, Italy, and assist the government Experiment Lead exploring innovative naval concepts and technologies. Basic Qualifications:

    Physical Demands:

    Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Spoke Site Manager (SM) at the Vicenza, Italy Mission Training Complex (V-MTC) supporting the US Army Europe (USAREUR) Joint Multinational Simulation Center (JMSC) in Grafenwöhr Germany. This is a full-time position, contingent upon contract award.

    Duties: The V-MTC SM is responsible for the performance of work at that Spoke V-MTC and has appropriate corporate decision-making authority to effectively respond to Task Order (TO) requirements. SM shall work collaboratively and in concert with the Program Manager (PM) and the Spoke V-MTC Chief, in direct support of the required TO training and technical missions. The SM serves as the principal point of contact with the Spoke V-MTC Chief for all technical requirements in the TO and the supervisor for Contractor employees assigned to the Spoke V-MTC. The duties of the SM are not envisioned to be fulltime, therefore the SM will be dual hatted in other functional task areas.

    The V-MTC provides collective training for Army leaders, Soldiers and staffs on the art and science of Mission Command. This training supports small units (squads through companies) and medium-sized units (battalions and brigades). The SM assists with exercise and training event planning, design, and evaluation using various Army and Joint Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming systems provided via a network enclave (e.g. Army Low Overhead Training Toolkit (ALOTT), Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC), and Games for Training (GFT)). The SM supervises the setup, configuration, and use of Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming simulations and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) to train and educate Soldiers, leaders, and military units. The SM acts as the functional or technical expert on the assigned information systems, network enclaves, and simulation systems and suites, to include systems analysis and software configuration necessary to resolve complex simulation/stimulation issues. Major duties include:

    • Perform TO management at the V-MTC, with full authority to act for the Contractor on all TO matters relating to daily operation of the TO
    • Management of the day to day workload for the team to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient service
    • Works with Government Site Lead to execute requirements and contract deliverables while managing personnel across the project teams and functional areas
    • Work collaboratively and in concert with the PM, other contract SMs, and contract technical and functional support personnel at multiple locations to provide end-to-end technical and functional support for simulation and MCIS supporting training events and exercises
    • Support installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of constructive simulations, Virtual/Gaming-based simulations, database preparation and maintenance, scenario creation, simulation workstation training, network and system administration on simulation networks, and terrain, modeling, and multi-media development
    • Supports the installation, operation, and hardware/software maintenance for the ALOTT, GFT, and JLCCTC simulation federation
    • Supports set-up, transition, and break down for all simulation activities
    • Supervises contract staff to include surge support for all exercises and events
    • Tailor exercise support based on dynamic requirements and competing tasks
    • Analyzes hardware, software, scenario stimulation, data collection, and after-action review (AAR) requirements necessary to meet JMSC and supported unit training objectives
    • Augment other team members as required

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of and experience with Army constructive models and simulations
    • Experience controlling medium to large unit training events and operations for an MTC or similar organization
    • Experience with military training and training support at the brigade or higher level
    • Experience in operations and training requirements at the division or higher level
    • Experience executing Mission Command training at the battalion command level or higher
    • Knowledge of virtual training simulators, constructive simulations, and with Army Games for Training
    • Familiarity with Army Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS)/platforms

    Qualifications:
