Overview: Quantitech LLC is seeing a Network/Systems Administrator for a position in Sigonella, Italy.
Responsibilities: The Network/Systems Administrator will:
- Install, configure, test and maintain servers, SAN, and related networking equipment.
- Monitor scheduled jobs and computer output for completeness, accuracy, and errors.
- Perform all critical data backups and secures data according to established procedures.
- Install firmware and security updates on servers, printers, and related networking equipment.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Active Directory.
- Install, configure and maintain IPS/IDS, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, AntiMalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection.
- Maintain Unified Communications, VoIP, and any related equipment, services, and platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PC hardware/software and related equipment.
- Maintain all data used for redundancy efforts and assists with remediation efforts as result of test findings and risk assessments.
- Log all computer, terminal, and printer hardware/software problems.
- Call appropriate maintenance organizations, arrange for repair and notify supervisor of unusual problems.
- Assist with software upgrades and installations.
- Create scripts for automation of common tasks.
- Perform such other duties as may be required from time to time for the overall management and operations.
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain NIPRNet and SIPRNet for U.S. forces.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Network Administration, or related Information Technology specialty.
- Ability to obtain and maintain credential access onto EUR circuit as an Administrator
- Security + and Windows 10 certification for elevated credentials
- CASP or CISSP certification and CCNA certification, required.
- 5-8 years of relevant work / job experience.
- Advanced proficiency in the operation of local and wide-area networks and components.
- Must be proficient with current Microsoft Server and Client operating systems.
- Must be able to perform duties accurately and independently.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work with members and associates in person or over the phone, in a courteous, pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
- A high degree of professionalism in regard to safeguarding sensitive data.
