'QAnon Shaman' Jacob Chansley pleads guilty to felony in US Capitol riot

(CNN)The so-called "QAnon Shaman" who stormed the US Capitol in a horned bearskin outfit pleaded guilty Friday to a felony for obstructing the Electoral College proceedings on January 6.

The defendant, Jacob Chansley of Arizona, is a well-known figure in the QAnon movement. He went viral after the January 6 attack because of the bizarre outfit he wore while rummaging through the Capitol. He made his way to the Senate dais that was hastily vacated earlier by Vice President Mike Pence -- someone Chansley falsely claimed was a "child-trafficking traitor."

He pleaded guilty Friday during a virtual hearing in DC District Court. The guilty plea was made as part of a deal with prosecutors, and it was accepted by District Judge Royce Lamberth.

The case has seen plenty of twists and turns: Chansley went on a hunger strike in February as part of a successful bid to get organic food in jail. He gave a jailhouse interview in March that was later rebuked by the judge in his case. And his attorney insulted people with disabilities in May, in what he said was a ploy to draw attention to mental health issues in the legal system.

Chansley was originally charged with six federal crimes. He pleaded guilty to one of the most serious charges and could face a maximum of 20 years in prison, though his lack of a criminal record means he'll likely receive much less. As part of the plea agreement, Chansley agreed to pay $2,000 in restitution for damage to the Capitol. He could also face a fine of up to $250,000.

During the plea hearing, Chansley's attorney asked yet again for his client to be released before sentencing. The Justice Department opposed this request, and Lamberth said he will issue a decision soon. When he is sentenced, Chansley will get credit for time already served in jail.

Sentencing was scheduled for November 17. As part of the plea deal, prosecutors agreed to seek a punishment between roughly three and four years in prison. This is the same potential prison term that other Capitol rioters who pleaded guilty to a single felony charge are facing.

He has been in jail since his arrest in January, and his attorney argued for his release on a few occasions. But the judge overseeing the case repeatedly ruled that Chansley is too dangerous to set free -- making Chansley part of a small group of rioters who aren't accused of attacking anyone that day, but have been detained before trial because of the potential for future violence.

The case highlighted how some Trump supporters are now facing real-world consequences by believing in fantastical conspiracy theories. Chansley's support for QAnon inspired his presence at the Capitol on January 6, which landed him in jail for the previous eight months. His lawyer now says Chansley is "seeking ... to step away and distance himself from the Q vortex."

High-profile case nears an end

Mental health has been a major part of Chansley's criminal case. He underwent a court-ordered psychological evaluation earlier this year, and his lawyer has argued that the government was making his pre-existing mental health conditions worse by keeping him behind bars before trial.

"He is a man with mental health vulnerability who has, for eight months, been in what any doctor is the worst thing you can possibly have done to you if you have a personality disorder, which is be placed in solitary confinement," defense attorney Al Watkins said during Friday's hearing.

Chansley answered procedural questions during the hearing and spoke briefly about the mental health evaluation. Lamberth ruled that Chansley was competent to plead guilty.

"I am very appreciative for the court's willingness to have me in my mental vulnerabilities examined, as well as I hope that your honor certainly didn't take any offense by anything (that) I told the psychiatrist. I certainly didn't mean anything personal. I just said I hope you were impartial," Chansley said, prompting Lambeth to reply that he wasn't offended by the comment.

Overall, at least 600 people have been arrested, and the Justice Department has secured more than 50 guilty pleas.

L'Italia ha deciso di armare i suoi droni Reaper, trasformando così gli aerei senza pilota da ricognizione in bombardieri teleguidati. La scelta del ministero della Difesa - anticipata dal mensile specializzato Rid - è stata presentata nel Documento programmatico pluriennale redatto nello scorso luglio, che contiene i piani di sviluppo delle forze armate. All'interno del documento l'iniziativa di armare i droni è stata "mimetizzata" usando vari sinonimi e termini tecnici. Il capitolo che la descrive - ad esempio - è stato intitolato "Aggiornamento del payload MQ-9", dove MQ-9 è la sigla che indica i droni Reaper. E spiega: "In particolare, il velivolo garantirà incrementati livelli sicurezza e protezione nell'ambito di missioni di scorta convogli, rendendo disponibile una flessibile capacità di difesa esprimibile dall'aria. Introdurrà, inoltre, una nuova opzione di protezione sia diretta alle forze sul terreno che a vantaggio di dispositivi aerei durante operazioni ad elevata intensità/valenza". L'operazione - che include anche un aggiornamento dei sensori e degli apparati di trasmissione - prevede l'investimento di 168 milioni di euro.

Errori e vittime

Concretamente, l'Italia decide di dotarsi del sistema d'arma più discusso di questi decenni, protagonista della "guerra globale contro il terrorismo" come esecutore degli attacchi contro i leader di Al Qaeda e Isis, ma anche responsabile di errori che hanno provocato centinaia di vittime innocenti e creato situazioni di grande tensione tra gli Stati Uniti e alcuni Paesi, come il Pakistan.

In Afghanistan e Iraq

La nostra aeronautica è stata tra le prime a mettere in linea droni da ricognizione, acquistando prima i Predator e poi i più potenti Reaper. Un modello quest'ultimo concepito per i raid killer: il nome infatti vuole dire "Falciatore". I velivoli senza pilota sono stati schierati in Afghanistan e in Iraq, limitandosi a osservare e filmare. Nel 2010 - durante il momento di massimo impegno militare italiano contro i talebani - venne chiesto al governo americano l'autorizzazione per armare i nostri Reaper, ma la domanda fu inizialmente respinta: all'epoca la tecnologia era ancora top secret. Il via libera è arrivato solo alcuni anni dopo, quando però con la riduzione delle attività militari all'estero non era più considerata prioritaria. Adesso invece le lezioni degli ultimi conflitti - in particolare in Libia e nel Nagorno Karabach - avrebbero spinto lo Stato maggiore a procedere con l'armamento degli aerei teleguidati. Anche perché il mercato è invaso di droni lanciamissili prodotti da Israele, Cina e Turchia.

Non è stato specificato il tipo di ordigni che verranno acquistati dal nostro Paese. In genere i Reaper statunitensi utilizzano missili Hellfire a guida laser e bombe "chirurgiche" ma esiste la possibilità di dotarli anche di missili di progettazione israeliana o britannica.

For most people, 2020 will be remembered as the year of the ‘virus’ and 2021 will be remembered as the year of the ‘vaccine’.

What most people will probably never know is that 2021 is shaping to be the year in which humanity and freedom are both destroyed.

Not because a virus will kill us, because the virus does not exist. For just two of the myriad demonstrations of this point, see ‘COVID-19: The virus does not exist – it is confirmed!’ and ‘Statement On Virus Isolation (SOVI)’. And for an account of one researcher’s fruitless search over the course of a year to find evidence of an isolated virus, via Freedom of Information requests to 90 health/science institutions all over the world, watch ‘Does the Virus Exist? Rather, the injectable being marketed as a ‘vaccine’ will kill a substantial proportion of the human population – for one of the most straightforward explanations of this fact by three highly qualified experts (Professor Dolores Cahill, Dr Judy Mikovits & Dr Sherri Tenpenny) watch ‘The Truth about the Covid-19 Vaccine’ – and turn most others into a human relic, known technically as a ‘transhuman’ or, if you like, ‘cyborg’. But while the injectable will have devastating consequences on the human population and must be strenuously resisted, it is the hidden and complementary measures being introduced by the criminal global elite under the guise of the World Economic Forum’s ‘Great Reset’ that will ensure the fundamental transformation of life for those humans and transhumans left alive.

In essence, the net outcome of the many measures that are being implemented, most of them ‘hidden’ behind the worldwide focus on the non-existent virus, will be a substantial human depopulation and enslavement of the rest. Options for Resistance

There are many options for resisting what is happening but most that are familiar are doomed to fail. Here, in brief, is why.

If you believe that mass protests will compel governments to respond to movement demands to cease implementing their heinous agenda, it would be useful for you to think a little more deeply about what is taking place. For a start, governments are not driving ‘The Great Reset’; it is an initiative of the global elite and governments are simply elite puppets. Moreover, movements that rely on mass protests only and which are focused too narrowly – such as on resisting lockdown measures, mandatory injection or ‘injection passports’ – cannot impact the elite program overall. To do that, we need a combination of strategically-focused actions that undermine elite power to promote and implement its ‘Great Reset’ agenda which has very many components. And to achieve that outcome, protests are simply the wrong tactic (unless they are specifically used to raise awareness of strategic means of resisting ‘The Great Reset’ and its associated measures in relation to the fourth industrial revolution, eugenics and transhumanism).

If you believe that ‘democratic’ processes will save us, you might be interested to know that these have long been under the control of the global elite and simply provide a convenient mechanism for dissipating the dissent of those who are unaware. And if you believe that challenges through the legal system will deliver us justice, be aware that these too were long ago captured by the global elite and are used to thwart fundamentally progressive initiatives, whatever occasional victories (invariably on issues that do not concern the global elite) in limited jurisdictions appear to suggest otherwise. In any case, there is no court in the world that has jurisdiction to require the global elite to appear before it to answer for its many outstanding crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity, nor those crimes it is inflicting now. As discussed by a diverse range of scholars and activists in the 18^th , 19^th and early 20^th centuries, the rule of law is the rule of elite violence. See ‘The Rule of Law: Unjust and Violent’.

Finally, if you believe that violence, in any form, will get us out of this mess, you are giving inadequate consideration to the preeminent geopolitical reality of our time: the military forces at the command of the global elite, starting with the national military forces, including nuclear arsenals, committed to the NATO Alliance. Not to mention the police forces of each jurisdiction. And given the elite agenda includes substantial depopulation, from their viewpoint how this occurs, militarily or otherwise, is really immaterial. So a key strategic consideration is devising the appropriate ways to mobilize military and police forces in support of us.

Given that military and police personnel have far more in common with the communities in which they live than they have in common with the global elite, history offers many examples in which thoughtful nonviolent activists were able to achieve this very effectively. Moreover, while it might be counterintuitive, strategic nonviolent struggle is superior to military violence, as strategic theory explains and history has demonstrated. Conclusion

In essence then, effective resistance to this elite coup depends on mobilizing enough ‘ordinary’ people to take the strategically-focused nonviolent action – essentially acts of noncooperation to thwart key elite initiatives – that will shift power from the global elite to us. No other option is genuinely realistic or has the sheer power to be as effective.

Hence, as part of the ‘We Are Human, We Are Free’ strategy, earlier this year Anita McKone and I launched ‘The 7 Days Campaign to Resist the Great Reset’, carefully explaining why each of the actions nominated was important in undermining elite power. And recently, Henna Maria in Spain created the beautiful flyers, outlining essential elements of the campaign, displayed with this article.

If you wish to play a vital role in the defence of humanity and human freedom, you are invited to undertake the actions indicated on these flyers, and share them with those who you think might be interested. Provided enough people take these actions on an ongoing basis, the global elite’s capacity to kill or enslave each one of us can be defeated.

What you choose to do, one way or the other, will help shape the fate of humanity.

1 Sep 2021 – The loss of the war of the war launched by the Americans in Afghanistan is the latest in a long list beginning with the loss of Germany and Japan in World War II and extending through the failure of the American wars in Korea and Vietnam. It is no longer profitable to launch a war.

Times have changed since the middle of the 20th Century. Before then, with the exception of World War I, war was a profitable business. It provided the colonies that enriched the European countries and ensured the neo-colonial domination of the United States over Latin America. The violence by which the colonial powers subjugated their colonies was so one-sided that they were not even recognized as wars.

In my previous blog, entiled Update on the Culture of War, I pointed out that the culture of war is now on the defensive. The progress of democracy and the rejection of war by the citizenry has forced countries, especially the American Empire, to avoid open warfare and to attack other countries by secret means or after invented and false provocations.

But Afghanistan is not the end. the culture of war continues to dominate human history. The great powers continue to increase their military spending, establish foreign military bases and prepare for nuclear war that risks the total destruction of the planet.

Can this be sustained?

It certainly cannot be sustained if there is a nuclear war: As Albert Einstein warned us in 1946, The unleashed power of the atom has changed everything save our modes of thinking and we thus drift toward unparalleled catastrophe.

But even if there is not a nuclear war, it cannot be sustained forever. As Karl Marx put it, spending money on the military is like throwing money into the sea. It produces nothing of value. And eventually an economy that produces nothing of value will crash from its own internal contradiction. This is the contradiction that produced the crash of the Soviet Empire in 1989. And this is one of the contradictions that led Johan Galtung to predict the end of the American Empire in the year 2020.

The crash of the global system in World War I set the stage for the first attempt at a new system of governance in the League of Nations.`

The crash of World War II set the stage for another attempt in the United Nations.

A crash of nuclear war would produced “unparalleled catastrophe.”

But a global economic crash would prepare a window of opportunity to produce a new system of global governance capable of promoting a culture of peace.

The window of opportunity may be very brief, so we must prepare now to take advantage of it.

The Declaration for the Transition to a Culture of Peace in the XXI Century is a first step in the preparation that is needed. It is being disseminated widely in Latin America and we need to extend this to the rest of the world.

Con lo stato di diritto ormai a pezzi, nel silenzio tombale dei giuristi, dei costituzionalisti, nell’indifferenza del ceto intellettuale (salvo poche lodevolissime eccezioni), nell’indifferenza di un’opinione pubblica spaventata e coll’acquiescenza delle maggiori organizzazioni sindacali, si consumano senza scandalo episodi di violenza e repressione contro il mondo del lavoro.

La Texprint di Prato è un’azienda ad alta intensità di sfruttamento, i sindacati denunciavano da mesi turni di lavoro massacranti e l’attività antisindacale della direzione. Alcuni operai erano stati licenziati dopo l’iscrizione al sindacato e, appoggiati dal SI COBAS, avevano iniziato un presidio permanente davanti alla fabbrica. Nel Giugno scorso, tre lavoratori sono finiti all’ospedale a seguito dell’aggressione al presidio. Il 2 Settembre, dopo 238 giorni di mobilitazione e lotte, i lavoratori hanno iniziato uno sciopero della fame accampandosi nella piazza del Comune di Prato.

La reazione repressiva è stata immediata: Venerdì mattina alle 6, una squadra di vigili urbani e di poliziotti ha fatto irruzione nelle tende, ha fermato i lavoratori e i sindacalisti presenti e li ha condotti in Questura. Nel corso della mattinata, altri attivisti che si erano recati sotto la Questura per chiedere il rilascio dei compagni sono stati prelevati in malo modo. Alla fine della giornata si contavano 4 arresti con accuse cha vanno dalla resistenza a pubblico ufficiale alle lesioni.

Il giorno dopo si è svolto il processo per direttissima agli imputati e il giudice ha confermato l’arresto pur mettendo gli imputati in libertà provvisoria.

Siamo oltre lo Stato di diritto, la giurisprudenza si allinea alla prassi politica e si rivela indifferente allo spirito e alla lettera della costituzione. Diritto di sciopero, partecipazione dei cittadini alle scelte collettive, libertà di riunione senz’armi, diritto al salario dignitoso non contano più, soverchiati degli istinti belluini di sopraffazione dell’opposizione. Quanto è avvenuto a Prato lo scorso fine settimana è il risvolto lavorista dell’adesione del Governo e del ceto intellettuale alle tesi repressive nei confronti dei renitenti al vaccino.

Un mondo intollerante all’opposizione è un mondo dove i diritti dei lavoratori vengono schiacciati, dove la sorveglianza e la repressione del dissenso è generalizzata, un mondo organico al nuovo capitalismo generato dal grande reset. Tutti zitti, a casa senza un lavoro che non sia a condizioni inaccettabili.

Polizei gibt persönliche Daten weiter: Bei Beschwerde ausgeliefert

Eine Beschwerde über den rechten Polizeigewerkschafter Pfalzgraf zeigte: Stets reichte die Polizei die persönlichen Daten an die Polizisten weiter.

BERLIN taz | Die persönlichen Daten von Menschen, die sich bei der Polizei Berlin über rechtsradikale Beamten beschweren, sind bislang umgehend an den betreffenden Polizisten weitergeleitet worden. Diese gängige Praxis in der Berliner Polizei ist durch eine Beschwerde von Christian Storch bekannt geworden. Der Bundestagsmitarbeiter hatte sich im Juni 2020 bei der Polizeipräsidentin Barbara Slowik über den Vorsitzenden der Polizeigewerkschaft, Bodo Pfalzgraf, beklagt.

Pfalzgraf, langjähriger Chef der populistischen Polizeigewerkschaft DPolG Berlin, stand im Juni 2020 während der großen Black-Lives-Matter-Proteste in der Kritik. Vom offizielle Twitter-Account der DPolG schrieb er in Abgrenzung zum Hashtag #blacklivesmatter der Protestbewegung #Jedeslebenzählt – und nahm damit Anleihen an #alllivesmatter, einem Hashtag, den auch amerikanische Neonazis gerne zur Diskreditierung der Bewegung verwenden. Im Zuge dessen wurde auch thematisiert, dass Pfalzgraf in der Vergangenheit unter anderem Mitglied der rechtsextremen Republikaner war.

Christian Storch findet, dass Polizisten mit rechtsextremer Vergangenheit nichts im Dienst zu suchen hätten. Er sagt: „Mein Ziel ist es nicht, die gesamte Berliner Polizei zu diskreditieren. Im Gegenteil: Ich bin der Überzeugung, dass die meisten Beamten gute Arbeit machen. Aber diejenigen, die einen klaren rechtsextremen Hintergrund haben, sollten ausgeschlossen werden!“ Deswegen habe er einen Beschwerdebrief an die Polizei aufgesetzt.

Die Polizei leitete im Rahmen des Beschwerdevorgangs den Brief ungeschwärzt an Pfalzgraf weiter – mitsamt der persönlichen Adresse, der Handynummer und der Mail-Adresse von Storch. Der ist darüber zutiefst erschüttert: „Es kann doch nicht sein, dass die Daten von Bürgern an Beschwerdeempfänger weitergegeben werden! Meine sensibelsten Daten liegen nun bei einem ehemaligen Mitglied der rechtsextremen Republikaner herum.“

Gesetze nutzen

Dass seine Daten weitergegeben wurden, hat Storch herausgefunden, nachdem er eine erfolgreiche Informationsfreiheitsabfrage zum Vorgang an die Behörde schickte. Diese teilte ihm auf erneute Beschwerde über die Adressweitergabe dann mit, dass dies ein üblicher Vorgang sei und die Vorgehensweise 2015 mit der Datenschutzbehörde abgestimmt worden sei. Zur Bearbeitung von Beschwerden gehöre, dass der Name des Betroffenen sowie der Sachverhalt an den beschuldigten Polizisten mitzuteilen sei – auch weil der Polizist zum Vorgang Stellung nehmen soll:

Etwaige Absprachen seien in der Datenschutzbehörde aber nicht bekannt, so die aktuelle Beauftragte Maja Smoltczyk auf Anfrage der taz. Sie bestätigte Storch, dass die Weitergabe seiner sensiblen Daten unzulässig war. Zwar dürfe die Polizei den Inhalt der Beschwerde ebenso wie Storchs Namen weitergeben, aber Adressdaten, Handynummer und Mail-Adresse nicht. In ihrem Brief an Storch heißt es wörtlich: „Die Weitergabe Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten war unzulässig. Dies ist zu bemängeln.“

Die Datenschutzbehörde stellte einen Mängelverstoß im Verantwortungsbereich der Polizei fest und will den Vorgang nun zum Anlass nehmen, den Beschwerdeprozess bei der Polizei Berlin grundsätzlich zu überprüfen. Personenbezogene Daten über den Namen hinaus seien in der Regel unkenntlich zu machen: Ansonsten könnte „die Weitergabe von nicht erforderlichen personenbezogenen Daten von Be­schwer­de­füh­re­r*in­nen eine abschreckende Wirkung haben.“ Es sei zu befürchten, „dass dies künftig Bür­ge­r*in­nen davon abhalten könnte, sich über Fehlverhalten von Mitarbeitenden der Polizei Berlin zu beschweren“, so Smoltczyk. Ähnliche Beschwerden wie von Storch habe es bislang aber nicht gegeben.

Praxis geändert

Die Datenschutzbehörde erwarte, dass die Polizei sich von nun an datenschutzkonform verhalte. Die Polizei habe gegenüber der Behörde angekündigt, die entsprechende Geschäftsanweisung für Beschwerden zu überarbeiten. Künftig sollen nur noch Namen und Sachverhalt bei Beschwerden weitergegeben werden, nicht jedoch Mail-Adressen, Wohnanschrift und Mobilfunknummer. „Diese Rechtsauffassung der Datenschutzbeauftragten wird bei der Neufassung der internen Regelung berücksichtigt und bereits jetzt umgesetzt“, heißt es.

Storch überlegt, gegen den festgestellten Datenschutzverstoß Klage einzureichen. Zudem hat er noch eine erneute Informationsfreiheitsabfrage gestellt zum Austausch zwischen Polizei und Datenschutzbehörde.

Italian officials want a drone to fly around and measure the temperatures of people relaxing on a beach near Rome in order to track Covid-19 and prevent health emergencies.

The ‘medical’ drone was scheduled to patrol the beaches of Ostia, a suburb of Rome, on Saturday and Sunday, but the experiment was postponed due to a bad weather forecast.

According to local health officials, the drone would “automatically” measure temperatures while hovering at least 25m above the water and staying at least 30m away from people. Test flights were planned to last for five hours, between 11am and 4pm.

“When the drone detects a person with a fever, it identifies them and alerts the medical surveillance team,” the officials said, as quoted by Italian media. “Doctors then arrive at the site for investigation, which can lead to a Covid-19 test.”

Officials promised to respect privacy, saying that holidaymakers with normal temperatures will not be identified.

Marta Branca, the head of ASL Roma 3, a public health authority that covers several districts of Italy’s capital, denied rumors that the flying device will be used to hunt down people who spread the disease.

“It’s just a way to make sure that an illness or an accident on the beach or at sea is detected immediately and not a single moment is lost in the rescue efforts,” Branca tweeted. “My father had died like that. Maybe, with that drone he would still be here.”

At the same time, Branca acknowledged some lapses in communication about the initiative, promising to avoid misunderstandings in the future.

Di Maio va al liceo di Pomigliano, studenti infuriati: “Ci hanno vietato di contestarlo”

La lettera-denuncia di Martina, rappresentante degli studenti al consiglio d’istituto del Liceo Imbriani di Pomigliano D’Arco (Napoli): “Lunedì viene Luigi Di Maio a scuola ma il preside non vuole contestazioni”. La giovane si rivolge direttamente al ministro: “Sono la rappresentante di istituto così come lo era lei tanti anni fa, ministro, e mi sento in parte responsabile di questa iniziativa promossa dalla scuola. Io vivo la sua stessa scuola, ogni giorno da quattro anni”.

Maurizia è la rappresentante di istituto al liceo classico Vittorio Imbriani di Pomigliano d'Arco, in provincia di Napoli. Si tratta dello stesso liceo frequentato da Luigi Di Maio, il capo del M5S, nonché vicepremier e ministro del Lavoro che proprio della cittadina nota per aver ospitato la fabbrica d'auto Alfasud e poi Fiat, è nato e vissuto. Di Maio domani lunedì 4 febbraio sarà nella sua città per un incontro con gli studenti ma i ragazzi che frequentano l'anno scolastico in corso non sono granché felici. E avrebbero approfittato dell'occasione per contestarlo. È tuttavia arrivato l'ammonimento del preside niente contestazioni né interventi da parte dei ragazzi, pena l'abbassamento dei voti. Questo, almeno è quel che denuncia, mettendolo nero su bianco, la rappresentante di istituto legata a Uds, la rappresentanza di sinistra degli studenti, in un lungo post su Facebook, una sorta di lettera aperta al vicepremier.

"Faccio politica da quando ho messo piede alla scuola superiore – racconta Maurizia -, e avrei avuto piacere a confrontarmi con un ragazzo 14 anni più grande di me che è nientedimeno vice presidente del consiglio dei ministri nonché ministro del lavoro e dello sviluppo economico. Sia chiaro: non avevo intenzione di insultare il ministro tantomeno mancare di rispetto a nessuno. Non perché si tratti di lui, certo, ma perché rispetto il mio interlocutore indipendentemente da chi esso sia. La scuola pubblica – spiega ancora Maurizia – dovrebbe essere apartitica e non apolitica, invece mi sembra il contrario. Si favorisce un partito all’interno di una scuola Pubblica (invitare il capo di un movimento politico sotto elezioni Europee, insieme al sottosegretario all’istruzione dello stesso partito, per me si definisce favorire) ma non sono consentite contestazioni e nemmeno semplici interventi da parte degli studenti. In sostanza – riassume la studentessa – ci hanno detto: io invito nella TUA scuola chi dico io, tu ascolti e stai zitto senza fiatare. Ci hanno impedito di esprimerci, altrimenti ne pagheremo le conseguenze, ci abbassano i voti, dicono. E le libertà degli studenti? Dov’è il diritto di opinione?", si chiede.

Poi la giovane si rivolge direttamente al ministro: "Sono la rappresentante di istituto così come lo era lei tanti anni fa, ministro, e mi sento in parte responsabile di questa iniziativa promossa dalla scuola. Io vivo la sua stessa scuola, ogni giorno da quattro anni. È un immobile privato per cui la città metropolitana paga 200.000 euro l’anno e nonostante ciò è in condizioni fatiscenti: spesso ci sono infiltrazioni d’acqua, i riscaldamenti sono rotti due giorni su tre, le norme anti incendio non sono tutte rispettate, ma di chi è la colpa se il governo taglia miliardi alla scuola lasciando tutti noi in condizioni sempre più precarie?", chiede.

E continua: "Non è un caso unico. La nostra sede succursale infatti, nonostante sia pietosa, è forse una delle migliori strutture scolastiche nella città di Pomigliano, dove le scuole sono locate in edifici obsoleti. Perciò la invito, una mattina, a procrastinare i suoi impegni e venire con me a farsi un giro nella sua città. La porto a vedere – l'invito di Maurizia al ministro – in che condizioni sono le nostre scuole, gli studenti costretti a fare lezione con le coperte, anche quelli che la scuola, nonostante sia pubblica e idealmente gratuita, non se la possono permettere. Poi le mostrerò gli studenti dei Licei durante le attività alternanza scuola-lavoro; lei che verrà a firmare la proposta di alternanza al MISE forse non sa che molti di noi qui a Pomigliano la facciamo alla Fiat, il grande marchio che licenzia i nostri padri per permettere a noi di essere sfruttati", sottolinea. Una situazione che, spiega Maurizia, è comune nella regione e in Italia. Martina conclude: : "Comunque, caro ministro, vicepremier, ex-alunno, concittadino Di Maio, ci vediamo lunedì a scuola, mi perdonerà se non le parlerò e non le dirò tutto questo di persona ma me l’hanno impedito, dall’alto quelli della sua scuola".

Sono così tante le notizie che il disagio è l’abbondanza. Scegliamo di partire da una che non lo è. E’ la piccola commozione del ministro dell’Istruzione, Patrizio Bianchi, che ieri, durante la conferenza stampa di governo, ha annunciato che i bambini vaccinati torneranno in aula senza più mascherina perché “vogliamo rivedere il loro sorriso”. Vicino a Mario Draghi perfino lui ha preso coraggio. Erano le 16 quando il premier si è presentato con un “bentrovati” e sorpreso ancora tutti. Cosa ci aspettavamo? La sua angoscia per la Lega invasata che mercoledì sera ha votato contro il Green pass. Si è scoperto invece che i prossimi provvedimenti saranno il tenero schiaffo. Chi lo ha visto da vicino ha osservato la sua abilità, ad alternare severità e quiete. L’impressione? Draghi era imperturbabile.
